At  BUX we have three different trading-related fees that you can be charged for.

Opening Fee: This fee is charged when you open a trade and it is based on the percentage of your total trade size, the moment you open the position.

Closing Fee:  This fee is charged when you close a trade and it is based on the percentage of your total trade size, the moment you close the position.

Financing Fee for stocks, commodities, and currencies: This fee is charged when you are trading with a Multiplier and keeping the position open overnight. You can read more about it here.

Financing Fee for cryptocurrencies: This fee is charged when you open a long position in a cryptocurrency and the financing fee is based on the total trade size, that is: including the invested amount. To find out more about this and why this fee is applied, you can read this article.

The minimum fee you can be charged when trading with BUX is £0.25. To find out more about this and see the complete fee overview, please visit our website. On demand, we are happy to send across a more detailed pricing document.

Please be aware:

As of February 3rd 2019 we’re making a change to our financing fee. From that date all newly opened positions without a Multiplier are no longer being charged a financing fee. This will apply to all products in the BUX app. So even your positions in cryptocurrencies (such as bitcoin, ethereum or ripple) will not be charged a financing fee anymore if these trades have no Multiplier. We believe this is fairer if you want to trade such products for the longer term.

Unfortunately, to make the above possible, if you are trading with a Multiplier, we will be charging you on the full value of the trade; no longer only on the leveraged amount. This will apply for all products that we offer in the BUX app.

If you have any further questions in regards to this, please feel free to contact us via email at BUX Support.
